Chief Risk Officer Derek Flowers will retire in mid-January 2027 after nearly three decades with Wells Fargo. Scott E. Powell, currently Chief Operating Officer, will become Chief Risk Officer effective January 15, 2027. Flowers has served as CRO since 2022, while Powell has been COO since December 2019 and previously held risk-management roles. Wells Fargo plans to name Powell’s successor as COO separately.
