Walmart, ADM, and General Mills are collaborating on regenerative agriculture across 40,000 acres of Midwestern wheat in Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri. The initiative has enrolled more than 200 farmers and provides incentives and technical assistance for reduced tillage, cover cropping, soil-health improvement, water-quality protection, and carbon sequestration. The wheat supports General Mills products sold at Walmart and Sam's Club, linking the program to the companies' longer-term sustainability and food-system objectives.
