In February 2026 Walmart approved a new $30.0 billion share repurchase program (effective February 23, 2026) replacing the prior program; as of April 30, 2026, $28.2 billion remained authorized. During the three months ended April 30, 2026 the Company repurchased 16.6 million shares for $2.08 billion at an average price of $125.51 per share (versus $4.555 billion repurchased in prior year quarter). Management indicates a majority of ongoing repurchases are expected to be funded through free cash flow and that repurchases are reviewed against cash needs, leverage capacity and cost of borrowings.
