Cash and cash equivalents increased to $11.5 billion at July 31, 2026 from $9.4 billion a year earlier, while the working capital deficit widened to $26.9 billion from $21.5 billion. Total outstanding long-term debt increased $1.8 billion to $39.9 billion, primarily after $4.2 billion of long-term debt issuance in April 2026 and $2.3 billion of repayments. Walmart renewed a $10.0 billion 364-day revolving facility and a $5.0 billion five-year facility, leaving $15.0 billion of U.S. committed credit lines undrawn. The company reported commercial-paper ratings of A-1+, P-1 and F1+ and long-term debt ratings of AA, Aa2 and AA from S&P, Moody's and Fitch, respectively.
