The City of Spring Hill is considering a one-year extension of its Waste Management contract, which currently expires on May 31, 2027. The proposed extension would move the expiration to May 31, 2028, giving the city additional time to assess long-term solid-waste and recycling options. Spring Hill is also evaluating competing providers and the possibility of bringing services in-house, creating renewal and retention risk for Waste Management.
