Waste Management continued to experience lower market prices for recycled commodities during the first half of 2026. Average prices for single-stream recycled commodities declined approximately 10% in the second quarter and 20% in the first half of 2026 compared with the prior-year periods. Lower renewable natural gas pricing and a decline in RINs pricing also reduced Renewable Energy results, although higher electricity prices partially offset the renewable energy impact. The Company is adjusting its business models and processes to mitigate downside risk from commodity price changes.
