Waste Management allocated $1,038 million of second-quarter 2026 available cash to shareholders through dividends and common-stock repurchases. Six-month free cash flow was $1,104 million, up $286 million from $818 million in the prior year. The free-cash-flow increase reflected $1,726 million of operating cash flow, up $181 million, and lower capital spending from fewer collection-vehicle purchases and planned reductions in sustainability-project investment.
