Second-quarter 2026 income from operations increased $102 million to $1,253 million, and operating margin expanded to 18.7% from 17.9%. Collection and Disposal operating income increased 6.1% to $1,550 million in the quarter and 7.3% to $3,010 million for six months, primarily from pricing yield, efficiency improvements and a West Tier divestiture gain. Recycling Processing and Sales operating income increased 50.0% for the quarter and 31.0% for six months despite lower commodity prices, while Renewable Energy operating income increased 23.7% and 66.7% over the same periods due to higher beneficial-use volumes. Healthcare Solutions improved from prior-year integration costs and synergies, but reported a six-month operating loss of $12 million.
