Waste Management is executing a focused-differentiation and continuous-improvement strategy supported by automation, digitalization and its asset network. The Company is extending beyond traditional waste operations through sustainability growth investments in Recycling Processing and Sales and Renewable Energy, while integrating Stericycle within Healthcare Solutions and pursuing scalable growth. Automation is intended to reduce labor dependency, improve customer self-service and enhance collection and recycling safety, reliability and efficiency. Management also continues to evaluate emerging diversion technologies that could generate additional value.
