Income Tax Rate Changes
WYNN RESORTS LTD · 2026-08-06 · Importance 28 · Surprise 30
Income tax expense increased to $26.3 million for the first six months of 2026 from $21.6 million in the prior-year period, a 21.8% increase. Second-quarter income tax expense increased to $16.2 million from $10.6 million, primarily because of higher U.S.-based operating profits. The six-month tax increase was attributable primarily to U.S.-based operating profits rather than a disclosed statutory tax-rate change. The company stated that repatriation of its portion of cash available for repatriation as of June 30, 2026 would be subject to minimal U.S. taxes.
