Cash App is deliberately pricing Bitcoin as the simplest and cheapest exchange, which management said created a headwind to current-year results. Despite the near-term pricing impact, the strategy has produced relative share gains in Bitcoin. Bitcoin remains one of four Cash App growth areas alongside network products, banking and financial services, and commerce solutions. Management intends to use the broader product portfolio and pricing position to support durable Cash App engagement.
