Macroeconomic Consumer Pressure
Zoetis Inc. · 2026-08-06 · Importance 60 · Surprise 40
U.S. companion-animal revenue declined by $240 million, or 11%, in the six months ended June 30, 2026. Zoetis attributed the decline partly to softer end-market demand, heightened competition and macroeconomic-driven price sensitivity affecting its key dermatology franchise and Simparica Trio. The company also reported generic competition affecting Convenia and Cerenia and lower Librela sales, while U.S. segment revenue declined $183 million, or 7%.
