Operating Cash Flow Trends

Zoetis Inc. · 2026-08-06 · Importance 31 · Surprise 32 · From source text

Net cash provided by operating activities decreased 6% to $1,056 million in the six months ended June 30, 2026, from $1,120 million in the prior-year period. The decline reflected lower net income adjusted by non-cash items and timing of receipts and payments, partly offset by lower income taxes paid and reduced inventory build-up. Net cash used in financing activities increased 33% to $1,653 million, primarily because of treasury-share purchases and dividend payments. Net cash used in investing activities declined to $387 million from $415 million, mainly reflecting capital expenditures and short-term-investment purchases in 2026.
