Consolidated net premiums written increased 3.6% year over year to $14.705 billion in the second quarter of 2026, while net premiums earned increased 5.8% to $13.889 billion. P&C net premiums written rose 3.0% to $12.768 billion, or 6.3% excluding large account and E&S property, while Life Insurance net premiums written increased 7.5% to $1.937 billion. Overseas General net premiums written grew 10.2% to $3.990 billion, led by Latin America growth of 15.6%, Asia growth of 12.0%, and Europe growth of 5.1%; North America Commercial declined 2.3% to $5.594 billion because of underwriting actions in major accounts and specialty property. Life premiums written and deposits collected increased 14.4% to $2.652 billion, including International Life growth of 6.2% and Chubb Benefits growth of 14.0%.
