Visa invested in Velocity’s $10 million Series A extension alongside Circle, Ripple, and Haun Ventures. The financing increased Velocity’s total Series A funding to $48 million. Velocity will use the proceeds to develop stablecoin infrastructure for issuers, acquirers, payment providers, financial institutions, and merchants.
